Welcome to Highridge Farm :: Registered Polled Herefords

Victoria 202 :: brood cow at Highridge FarmVictor 360 :: senior herd sire at Highridge Farm
Highridge Farm bought their first registered Polled Hereford female in 1982. The heifer happened to be sired by a well known Victor Domino bull. Most cattle in the original Highridge Hereford herd were of RWJ, Fowler, and Trask breeding with influence from Mont-Vue and later Hadden.

Today, the Highridge Polled Hereford herd consists of 30 registered mature breeding females. The cattle operation runs alongside our other business, KD Transport, a refrigerated trucking operation. The cattle are our passion and we are dedicated to this great breed promoting the select lineage of outcross Victor Domino bred Polled Herefords.

Victor Domino Genetics
Our breeding objective is to improve on the base of Victor Domino genetics through selection for fertility, milk, growth, carcass scores, disposition, and longevity. These seedstock females and bulls are the kind that stand the test of time with the best traits the Hereford breed is known for. These cattle continue to rise to the top even by today’s standards.

Modern Victor-bred Hereford cattle have been selected within our cow herd and sires to maintain the maternal traits and growth characteristics. Attention to carcass values is an important component.
